You may have noticed that there is one dress taking over my life right now – the Taylor dress from Boohoo! I may have bought it in every colour…
It is advertised as being an off the shoulder dress, but it actually sits way better on the shoulders – and no need to push my straps down! I have it in size 18-20, as before they restocked it, I bought whatever I could in the hope that it would fit. To be honest, both sizes fit pretty well as there is a decent amount of s t r e t c h in the garment – but I do like things to be very fitted. Naturally, my Maidenform shapewear shorts made an appearance underneath to help smooth me out and stop the chub rub.
Now, I love to wear most colours, but there was one that I wasn’t too sure about in terms of this dress…the blush. However, it has ended up being one of my absolute favourites!
With the help of a few of my new accessories I have created a look that thinks pink, but isn’t too much! It’s hopefully one that I will be rocking very soon this festive season!
I am starting to go off wrap front top and dresses, as my boobs often pull them open and make them indecent – but happily, this dress is made in a way that doesn’t do that. Another selling point is the way they’ve done the sash. It’s attached, there are no loops, and it doesn’t turn into a piece of string when fastened! In fact, my only gripe about the dress would be the length. I am 5’7 and I do like things to hit below the knee by a few inches where possible.
Thanks to the glorious bag sale in Accessorize, I am now a lot poorer! But one glorious clutch that I did pick up is this stunning pink sequinned bag that compliments the dress wonderfully. It’s the perfect size and it has a cute little strap for when clutches aren’t your thing.
Now, I often wear mega heels in my outfit posts – heels that I cannot walk in! But I CAN WALK IN THESE! These gorgeous metallic beauties from Simply Be are cute, comfy and a perfect match!
And of course, no outfit would be complete without some earrings! And these triple gem drop earrings from ASOS really help complete the look. They aren’t too heavy, they don’t catch, and they’re fucking gorgeous! And a steal at £8!
So there we have it – a Spring look in the middle of Winter! And 6 of the same dress because they are comfy, flattering and easy to wear.
What do you think of this look? Would you rock it?
