So last year I introduced you to the brand Lilly&Lime, a fairly new full bust swimwear brand. I was really impressed with the size range for such a baby brand, the fact that they had different pieces in different styles and patterns – but I did hope that they would one day introduce more sizes and high waisted bottoms – and hey presto, they now do!
What I really like about the Lilly&Lime swimwear selection is the fact that every colourway comes in every style, and the colour palettes can all be mixed and matched, so if you fancy a plain top with a patterned bottom or vice versa then the option is there in every different style. I know that a lot of brands do make their swimwear in a multiple styles, but I haven’t seen mix’n’match quite like this before.
In the mismatched set I am wearing 36H/18, and in the matching set I am wearing 36HH/20. I think my ideal size in Lilly&Lime is probably 36J, and in the higher bottoms 18 or 20. Therefore I would say that the cups come up slightly small, and the backs are firm.
The full cup style was not the best in terms of pushing the girls up and in, and I had to tighten the straps quite a lot to get them nice and high. I would say that this would be the perfect bikini to do something active in, and my boobs would never fall out of it thanks to the style. I am not overly worried about having incredible cleavage on the beach, but it would be nice to have it lift me up a little more.
The multiway balconette style is too small for me, but the padding and cut of it definitely helped push my baps up a little higher. Sadly, my boobs are a bit too saggy to brave it as a strapless – but that isn’t news to me!
For me, Lilly&Lime are a brand who really focus on their customers. They offer free shipping on orders over $100 AUD, and they are forever reposting and responding to customers on their social media. The brand are so new, and yet they really understand how to make it work. Their website is clean and easy to use, the models actually fit the products and their sizes are stated. I do think that the fit could be worked on as stated – and maybe it’s because my bust is so full and heavy and saggy and they don’t fit test on someone like me. But I do think that they will go from strength to strength.
What would I like to see next from this brand? Keep those new colourways and patterns coming! Keep expanding the sizes. Offer a plunging padded cleavagey style. Use a few different models. World domination.
