Sadly, Autumn is well and truly here. The only good thing about this cold, dark weather is the excuse to buy winter clothes! And one of my favourite new pieces was a glorious bomber jacket from ASOS. I got it in a size 18 expecting it to not fit, but it was actually a little big on me! A 14 would be perfect with a tank under, a 16 with something thicker, but this 18 will tolerate several winter layers and it zips across my hips – so it’s staying!

In this post I wanted to show you how I styled the jacket in three different ways. I think sometimes the worry with statement pieces is knowing what to pair them with, but hopefully you can take inspiration from my ideas :)

I am a grungy girl at heart – trousers and trainers and being mistaken for a teenager or full on glam are my two most common looks, with very little inbewteen. I rarely wear jeans, but when I do I like em skinny and high waisted, and these New Look gems are comfy and fit me and my big bum so well!

If you wanted to add a little glam to this look them these incredible earrings are perfect!

I am so in love with this shirt dress! I had to size up to a 22 to get the boobies in, but with my trusty (very old) belt you can’t tell that’s it is big on the waist. An old pair of Evans boots and a scarf complete the pattern clashing look.

In case you’re curious – here is the dress without the jacket.

All hail the Mum jeans! I got these in a size 22 because they have zero stretch, and when paired with these heels and a polo neck, the look can definitey be deemed as smart.

So that’s my three looks with my new, super cosy and warm bomber jacket! what did you think of them?
