When I first became aware of Lady V London I only really knew of their Swing and Hepburn dresses. However, over the years they’ve released some many other fantastic styles, and there’s one that I had my eye on for a very long time – the Lady V London Isabella dress.
The Isabella was rumoured to be bust friendly, as well as a decent length on the average heighted wearer, and so I was keen to see if she would suit me. And thankfully, she was everything I had hoped and dreamt of!
I loved the spotty Cadbury purple design as it was very eye catching and suited my preferred taste in colours. The detachable bow was a nice touch, as I know that not everyone is a fan of a bow strewn cleavage.
The 16 fit my 34H chest and 5’7 frame perfectly well. I think I could have possibly tried a 14, but there may have been a little boobsplosion. The waist was pretty roomy, and so a black belt to match my black shoes was in order.
The fabric needed very little ironing and is lovely and light, perfect for the forthcoming Spring. The skirt is not a full circle, but it’s still amazing for twirling!
The Isabella comes in a few other colourways, and as it’s a firm favourote for many I hope that it will be back in a few more colourways very soon!
