Summer has been and gone! But here are some things that I got up to…

I attended a glorious Curvy Kate event with some delicious bloggers. It was great to see some of the older models and meet their new Model Mates! I always love the Curvy Kate events, as the informality makes it feel like I’m catching up with old friends – which is really how I feel about the CK team. You can tell that they are a passionate brand who really want to deliver excellent products to their customers, and the models truly love and represent the brand perfectly.

Probably the most exciting thing to happen to me this summer was the release of the Estella dress from Lady V London – a dress that I helped design and model, and a dress that I have seen many of my wonderful readers wear and look wonderful in. I was so grateful to Lady V for asking me to collaborate with them on this, and if you, yes YOU bought an Estella after seeing it on here or one of my social streams, then please post a photo to my Facebook page!

I went to an AMAZING event organised by the adorable Sarah of The Prosecco Diaries. It started with cocktails and an awesome burlesque dance class from ‘The Cheek Of It’. I was the largest lady there, and certainly the worst dancer and yet I felt amazing and sexy and confident. Burlesque has a bad rep with those who see it as ‘arty stripping’, and I don’t doubt that strippers feel good about themselves as well. But this was something else, and I would recommend the classes to each and every one of you reading this. I then received sparkly prosecco for being a cheeky little minx which really affirmed that the class had done me a world of good, numerous treats in an amazing goody bag, and I was luck enough to watch a wonderful burlesque show at cafe de Paris! Read all about it on Sarah’s blog.
