When it comes to Ewa Michalak bras, I have pretty much needed the same size across the board – 38HH, one band and two cups up from what I usually wear. As with all items of clothing, working out your size in different brands and even different items within that brand is not an exact science, but this has worked well for me.
Where the BM Bibi Czarny Tulipan from Ewa Michalak is made from a stiffer material, the cups of the BM Szarotka are a lot softer and stretchier. I actually felt like I could have sized down to a 36HH bra due to the generosity of the fabric.
I once again found that my boobs didn’t fill the bottom of the cups due to how wide they are, and I definately had a little bit of room at the top of the cups. For my shape, it would have been ideal if the bra had come up a tiny bit higher under my arms, but I know that for some this will be a blessing!
Like all Ewa bras that I have tried, the BM Szarotka has fully adjustable straps and three hooks and eyes. The floral pattern is just stunning. To some it might be bordering on frumpy, but to me it’s lush and so unusual for larger sizes.
The bra gives me a slightly pointier shape than the BM Bibi Czarny Tulipan, probably due to the stretchier fabric. It also doesn’t give me a hugely uplifted shape – it’s more of a comfy casual bra.
The size 20 knickers were so darn comfy. I cannot stress that enough. They cover my arse, they don’t dig in and they are preeeeeeeetty! So often the matching knickers that come with sets are uncomfortable, but these are perfect!
Remember to check out Bratabase for great bra comparisons if you are unsure about your size in Ewa – although for me the calculator is pretty much bang on.
Ewa do not wholesale, but they do deliver to many countries. The currency is ‘PLN’ and so, for example, to find out the currency in pounds I would Google ‘x PLN in GPB’. The bras takes 2-4 weeks to arrive – it all depends on whether you’ve had to ask for a custom bra to be made.
