I just made a big order from Bravissimo, and I kept adding and deleting this one. I have only tried one Bravissimo bra, the Diva Demi, and a 34HH seemed a pretty good fit (I returned it for other reasons, but have reordered it now! ) so I am one size smaller than you. I don’t think I would like this bra, I know I shouldn’t expect miracles for these sizes, but I would want something a bit more than that. Do you think it would make a difference to get a smaller band? I wouldn’t wear strapless+tight anyways, so wouldn’t mind some bra-bulges… But I don’t actually own any strapless things (because I had given up on strapless bras long ago), so I guess much of my reluctance is because I don’t urgently need one. I am sure lots of ladies will be quite happy with having an option!
Oh, and to give feedback on the new format of video reviewing: It is so much easier to see exactly what you are talking about! BUT, some people have slow internet, like me, so it can be a bit of a pain to watch a video clip, rather than reading a written review :O
It looks like the HH is giving you quite some quad boob and the center gore is like half an inch from your sternum, why did you opt for this fit instead of the J cup?
I think that may be because it is “tipping” away from your body… I was thinking how it would look combined with a corset? I have the Morticia corset like you, and know that it deffinitely pushes everything up a good bit! So maybe that could help out the not-so-lifting bra? There are loads of dresses that are strapless, nipped at the waist and with a full skirt, so that would work perfectly
This is wonderful! I love that you talked in detail about the construction; for women who don’t really know where to start when it comes to figuring out what they need from their bras, being able to see the details while you’re talking is really, really helpful! I think the boning in the cup is brilliant. Thank you for the review!
Looks really ok, you could just move the band a little bit up on the back (just like Ewa Michalak recommends with her strapless) – the cups should become a little more spacious in the upper part
This is so helpful, fantastic review. I’m a 32J and been waiting for Bravissimo to make strapless bras in my size for years, I had given up but will certainly buy this. Also good that it has multi way straps. Thank you for reviewing this, it would be useful if you could also post a review on their website. They sell out of styles so quickly and I often wait for reviews before I buy. Thanks again
Hi I have only recently discovered your blog- from the ‘ I don’t hate skinny women’ post, which was great btw. I found this review really helpful… I also have a strapless bra from Bravissimo and unfortunately cannot get away from the ‘pointy’ affect… are there any other strapless bras that you know of or have tried that don’t give you pointy but still provide support?
Thanks so much you blog is fantastic and I have added it to my favourites

Oh my. You have the most adorable voice/accent! Do you think this bra would give the boob point with all breast shapes, or do you think it will curve out smoother with wear? I’m really keen on getting a strapless but they’re hard to get when you’re bigger than a G cup, and much like you Georgina, I am not a fan of pointed boob bras! Nonetheless a great review. ps: Your hair and makeup looks super fabulous!
Hi George
I am toying with the idea of buying one of these bras and came straight to your blog to see if you had reviewed it, already being a fan of your Facebook page. I am a 38HH normally with Panache bras fitting me the best as a rule. I am unsure about Bravissimo own brand as my Alana bra didn’t seem to have a good quality to it (the fancy stitching coming unravelled) after a few wears. As this is a smooth style, do you feel that the structure of the bra holds well over time? Does the elastane that holds it against your skin keep its structure?
Gutted Was hoping it would be ok to go under an outfit I wanted to buy, but I bow to your knowledge on this one George, just gonna have to find a jumpsuit that I like, that fits and isn’t a bandeau/strapless top!

The J cup was too baggy on top.

I really would not recommend this bra as a strapless bra for a chest your size x
